Our story

A Long Beach installer who built his own name

Gary Moore spent more than five years as the lead installer for the most successful fence contractors in the area before he went out on his own. In March 1977 he founded Better Built Fence Co. in Long Beach.

With his California contractor's license in hand, Gary grew the company into a busy fencing and masonry business and later moved it to Compton, where it is based today. Better Built is now back in full operation, with the same license and the same standard of work.
